Paul Reynolds

As Co-Founder and Executive Director of the non-profit Reynolds Center for Teaching, Learning & Creativity, he oversees the organization’s mission to foster creative, purposeful human potential around the globe.

To that end, the Reynolds Center is committed to developing, implementing, and supporting more innovative ways to support teacher and students’ creativity across the curriculum with a signature focus on STEM/STEAM.  

He is also a children's book author who collaborates with his twin brother and New York Times #1 Best-Selling Author/Illustrator, Peter H. Reynolds. Their most recent books include Going Places, a picture book about creativity and engineering, and a  STEM-meets-Arts (STEAM) early chapter book series called Sydney & Simon, which includes Full STEAM Ahead!, Go Green!, and To the Moon!

Dr. Marquita S. Blades

Dr. Marquita S. Blades is an award-winning STEM Educator and Teacher EmPOWARRment Specialist with 16 years of experience as a high school science teacher and manager of national STEM programs.

Dr. Blades saves schools, school districts, and other educational programs time and money by teaching them to increase student engagement through rigorous and meaningful learning experiences using the resources they already have on-hand. Her signature instructional program, POWARRful Teaching Strategies includes two highly-engaging national professional development workshops for teachers: Practical Implementation of the Next Generation Science Standards and POWARRful Teaching Strategies for Increasing Student Engagement.

Dr. Blades is a contributing author for The Whole Truth Anthology, the lead author for, The Mediocre Teacher Project anthology, and will soon be re-releasing her first book of instructional strategies entitled: POWARRful Teaching Strategies for Increasing Student Engagement. She recently launched POWARRful Teaching Strategies – The Podcast, a platform for highlighting effective instructional strategies & the teachers who implement them.

An educator for the last 23 years, Dr. Jacie Maslyk, has served as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, elementary principal, and assistant superintendent.

Ronnie Thomas applies his 20 years of STEM teaching experience to ensure that all learners are challenged. A two-time teacher of the year recipient, Ronnie has conducted research with NASA Reduced Gravity Education Flight Program. He is an enthusiastic and passionate technology-driven educator with a solid commitment to the social, academic and developmental growth of every student. Known for his engaging and versatile teaching methods, Thomas has the ability to inspire hands-on learning experiences that capture a student’s imagination.

A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Ronnie graduated from Alabama State University with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (Beta Zeta). The Founder of Georgia Science & Robotics Academy, Inc 501c3 and Fun Weird Science, LLC, Ronnie resides in Atlanta with his wife and three children.
